The first owners of this 69-footer wanted a comfortable boat for West Coast cruising from Mexico to Alaska. Her builders were workboat-oriented, but they did an attractive and smooth job of yacht finish. Her systems and arrangements were designed for an owner-operator couple; pilothouse, galley and salon are all adjacent. All machinery is contained in a generously sized engine room occupying the after 40% of the vessel, with provisions for access from the accommodation space as well as from the afterdeck. Below, there is a full-width owners stateroom with a desk and day couch and a walk-in closet, and two twin guest cabins. As a serious cruising boat for the open West Coast, "Wide Waters" takes advantage of Hunt Associates' experience in the design of all-weather pilot and patrol boats as well as yachts. Below, see a photo of the 69ft. LOA Motor Cruiser now, named "Argent," along with a photo of the same motor cruiser then, named "Wide Waters." |
